The big company logos out there have their own history so I thought it would be good to go over just some of the best ones.
The Big Whopper- Burger King
are easily one of the busiest and biggest places to eat in the world serving millions of people day in and day out. The first logo that BK had was in 1969 and it featured two burger buns with Burger King in big red letters in the middle of the buns. The logo was replaced in 1999 by a newer logo based on the same idea. The buns have now been turned on their sides and there is now a big blue swirl going through the outside.
Pepsi
The creator of Pepsi was Caleb Bradham which is why when the drink first started out it was known as Brad’s Drink. He actually made the drink for his drug store customers. The name Pepsi-Cola was used later to define the company. The logo will always follow competiors simply because they are usually ahead of them. There have also been many, many Pepsi slogans some of which are:
The classic: Delicious and Healthful 1909-1939
1975-1978 Have a Pepsi Day
Pepsi Now- 1983
Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola has to be one of the most recognised brands in the world and the logo is exactly the same. Officially Coca-Cola is the most popular and biggest selling soft drink in the world and was created in Atlanta by Dr. John S Pemberton a mouthful I know. This drink actually started out as a fountain drink which of course means the syrup was mixed with carbonated water. Many people say that this is still the best way to enjoy Coca-Cola. The colour red means a number of things one is danger and the other main one is success which could be why Coca-Cola used it.
Company logo design is very important for a business in the same way that business flyers are.
Logos appear on everything from letterheads to business compliment slips so they are very important to a company.
