Bookkeeping used to totally perplex me and as a result I had to find a simpler way which I want to give you. Most managers I know in small companies want to devote their working day to getting customers and making sales as opposed to doing accounting. Without even looking at reviews of the software I naively went ahead and bought the lowest cost package I could find. Looking back I am glad I didn’t spend too much money on this as this software is possibly the most unusable and most complex system I have ever had the misfortune to use. OK my first piece of advice is that whenever you see the words accounting software tread carefully as it definitely means the developer isassuming you understand a enough about accounting.

Just like me small company people know about their craft and what they sell and not accounting but in my case I was driven to allocate time to finding a solution that would work for me. The great news is I discovered a really good solution, it’s an internet system called salesorder.com.

Arguably the best application I have discovered, salesorder.com works on the internet and is thoughfully designed and of course lets me work anywhere I can connect to the web. And here is the coolest bit I want to tell you, the people at salesorder.com know their subject, just like their system they are easy to work with and better still are happy to spend quality time with their users (even the free ones) helping people like me to solve real problems in my business and to top it off they have shared with me the accounting I need to know.
