Why You Shouldnt Have A Office Christmas Party

Although Christmas is still a few months away yet the planning for the staff party and drinking sessions are well under way and there a few things to bare in mind when thinking about partying down.

Where is the location of the party. Many businesses will attempt to save on money by ordering in a big takeaway and bringing the drinks into the office itself but is this really a good idea? The business is a place of respect and work not a place to have a huge Christmas party. However many companies can actually not afford to go out on a big spending spree and sometimes the party in the office is necessary and if this is the case you are going to need office insurance.

A party in a office could be worse than a normal one especially at Christmas. If you are a company with any computers at all then you will know how much money it costs to actually buy in new stock. Even more important is some of the memory that is held onto these machines so if one is ruined it could seriously cost your business a lot of money this is why even if you are a small business you should think about small business insurance as this will be a lot cheaper than the average insurance costs.

For the bigger companies there is no sympathy to be had as you can certainly afford to send your employees out on a much deserved meal in time for the holiday season. The employees work hard all year round and a company paid meal is a nice way to reward all of the employees at the same time. You could always give out a Christmas bonus as this really does show how much you appreicate all the hard work that they have done for the year.

Of course if you are in a works van and something happens you could always go for business vans insurance as this will cover you from everything that could happen to the van.
